What to do with 12 stalled jars?

I've got 12 jars that have shown no additional growth in over 2 weeks. The Myc looks white and healthy, but has only colonized around 60%-70% of my WBS. The seed now looks dry, and I assume this is the reason for the stalled growth.
I've shaken, so the Myc is everywhere, just not completely covering the grains.
I figured I have two options.
1) Relegate myself to failure, and try again.
2) Case all 12 jars, and see if the added humidity gives it that extra boost before contams show up.
I know my chances of #2 working are slim, but I figure giving it a shot is better than just accepting failure.
For the WBS preparation, I hydrated by doing the following
1) Bring water to rolling boil 2) Turn off stove, and move boiling water to another burner. 3) Dump the grain in and cover, let sit for 1 hour.
Afterwards, the water was all murky, so it seemed ok to me.
Anyhow, any thoughts?

I too am wondering about this kind of thing, i have a growbag that has the same problem, it is far from fully colinised and has stalled due to lack of moister.
this is just an idea, but u could maybe use and empty syringe that has been sterilised to inject some moisture into the jars i might try this with my grain bag as it has a self healing injector port.

just wait. it can take a while for full colonization. the grain should always look and feel dry, the moisture is on the inside.

Do I hear an outdoor patch coming. Use the colonized parts for an outdoor patch and start again with a fresh strain.

If the colonized portion isn't in one mass due to shaking, you're pretty much SOL.
If they were just stalled with one large mass in the jar, you could clean out the uncolonized portions and spawn what you had. With a large amount of uncolonized grain in there, it's done. If you spawn it, there's a 99% chance it'll contaminate - the grains just have WAY too many nutrients to resist contamination.
Your options are to let it be, and see if it decides to grow slowly, or toss them and start over. If you have more jars and other supplies, you can keep those jars going with the hopes that they'll recover while you start new jars.

will not work, this is kind of a myth, unless the mycelium has matured (a good few flushes) the active content of the mycelium is minimul, i have tried this with a cake that had not fully colinised and it done nothing but make me almost sick.
There have been people that have sucesfully triped of myc, but it has only ever been from myc that has produced a few flushes of shrooms.

Ive done it a couple times before with non fully colonized jars... once with 2 1/2 jars (all stalled at 75%), and once with a jar. The 1st trip was the most incredible trip ive ever had, and the 2nd one was a nice small relaxing trip... I did it with brf cakes, so i dont know about yours, but if youre gonna throw em out, try to make tea instead (assuming there are no contams)... what do you have to lose?

You have 3 choices. Risk getting sick from contams and be disapointed you did not have fun. Spawning it to failure. Or create an outdoor patch and let nature take over. The first two suck out of experience. And By the way mushroom tea from cakes only works if the mycelium is mature and getting ready to pin. Don't digest vericulite "EVER"!!

I'm not the authority on this kind of situation, but what my brain tells me to do is that in order to "try" and salvage the grow is to spawn your jars to bulk substrate right away! In this, I mean don't go with the usual 1:3 ratio. Instead, go a very aggressive 1:1 ratio. This would be the same as shaking your jars up, but at least you'll have a substrate that is at field capacity, (moisture wise). You will have reintroduced moisture to your suffering WBS. Wait the usual amount of time so that the WBS mycelium colonizes the substrate, then put a casing layer and your done! If you have any chance of salvaging your WBS, I think this is the way to go GL.

you didn't soak for 24 hours after step 3? if a one hour soak in hot water is all the hydration your seed got i'm surprised it got as far as 70%.
check this method->

spawning to a bulk substrate is beyond my current experience so i will consider this bag a failure unless anyone has any other suggestions, its obvious my bag is not going to grow further.
its all part of the learning curve, i think all the moisture has evaporated as sthe bag had alot of condenstation and now its all gone.

I'd dump it and start over. There's always a reason why the mycelium stalls.
NEVER dump dry grains into boiling hot water. That will burst the kernels quicker than anything else. Soak the grains in hot tap water for at least a few hours to soften them up. 24 is better. Bring to a boil, then drain, allow to steam-dry on the surface of the seeds, and load the jars 2/3 full. RR

Update:
Ok, today I decided to check things out. I opened up one jar that looked mostly colonized. When I started digging with a spoon inside, I saw the grain barely had any mycelium there. It was all on the outside of the jar.
No contams, smelt earthy and mushroomy, so I assume lack of moisture was the cause.
Now I am soaking grain according to RR, and will see what gives.
Since there are no contams in the jars, can I do a G2G transfer, or is that asking for trouble still?

There's a chance you introduced contams, which may take hold of the uncolonized grain.

I thew out the one jar I opened. I knew it would have to be thrown away after I opened to look. I am talking about the other jars.
