SE or SW Oklahoma?
    #7464080 - 09/28/07 11:51 AM (16 years, 4 months ago)

Me and some friends are going hunting tonight and tomorrow, I was wondering if I would have the best luck going towards southwest Oklahoma (Wichita falls, Altus, Lawton) or southeast Oklahoma (Hugo, Broken Bow, Durant).

I am aware of the rules, but this is just something I have researched over and over and can't get a clear answer.

i'd say souteast, but on either i dont think you will have much luck finding the common cowfield psilocybes.

I've heard reports of finding them in wichita falls, not really any other specific place besides that. On Google maps, the southeast side looks really green whereas southwest looks brown (Seems like cow pastures would be brown, not bright green). Not sure if this is just because of the season the pictures were taken in or not...

I've found them northeast on HORSE dung mainly which is odd.. cow fields I seem to not have found luck, fortunately i know a place with many horses, the mushroom are alot smaller than psilocybes I've found down in  texas in cowfields, also EXTREMELY potent they seem to be and they seem very gentle trip as opposed to extreme oddity... maybe lots of psilocin-baeocystin who knows
