My parents were cleaning out an old storage unit and found a rubbermaid tub with all my old comic books in it!
So now when I go home for christmas I will have a huge comic collection waiting for me!
Man, I can't wait to see what is in there! I can remember some of the stuff I had, a bunch of Spider-mans, X-mens, Wolverines. I remember I had Spawn #1 and a lot of the early Image stuff. Some McFarlane Spider-mans. An autographed Cable #1. Vintage 80's and 90's books from when I was a kid.
hopefully most of the good stuff survived. I've always wanted to start up a collection again. This will go a long way towards getting me started. they were all in mylar bags, so hopefully they held up after being in storage for ten years.

Spawn #1 is the #1 comic submitted to be graded on condition.
I love to draw comics myself, but I really can't get into treading them.
Congrats, brother. I love to hear stories of reuniting with good friends. I can be a lil' sapy sometimes

Spawn#1? really?
I was under the impression that comic was pretty worthless. like $20 tops.
I have one graded comic a friend traded me for herb. Its a 9.0 Tick #1. Its kinda lame, being sealed up in the little plastic box. you can't read it!
also, probably one of my most valuable comics that I have right now on my shelf is the first appearance of Spider-Man in the black costume. I was thinking of selling that one as the movie might have driven the price up a little.

I loved the Tick cartoon. The comic is more adult themed. Never saw the live-action show, that actor will always be David Putty in my mind.
i type with 2 fingers. pretty lame considering I'm a writer.
