Is this simulation video anything like tripping on LSD?

Just play it and stare at the centre of it till the end then look around your room and stare at things. Effect seems to wear off after about 10 seconds. Still cool none the less and was just wondering if LSD is anything like this.
Also, is this the right section to be posting this? Sorry if it isn't.

It definately has a cool effect. first time i tried staring at that thing i didnt expect it to work. As to acid I havent taken enough lsd to have full blown crazy hallucinations. First time i did it, i had two tabs, and it was night time in the middle of the bush, i remember seeing this gold buddah statue, when the sun came up i realised that it was actually a termite nest. Its kind of like, when you look at something, like for example, a peice of wood, you can stare at it for ages, and all the detail comes out and it almost becomes a world on its own. The smallest thing, you can really see all the patterns and detail of it. Things can become like a paradise, everything just looks and has a feeling of awsomeness, if that is a word. lol. If you close your eyes you see some really strange, but cool things. I expect if you took a higher dose, the open eye visuals could be alot more intense.

You may get visuals similar to what you got after looking at that, but otherwise it's nothing like it. Remember, tripping is a mindset, not just visuals. You can't really understand it until you trip though, so go trip!

I would say it's more like a low dose of mushrooms. Still it's an interesting effect.

I think it is pretty damn similar to LSD style visuals.
The rhythm is very similar in how the "material waves" move about, however it seemed a little less precise. Also, the wave feature is (for me) was simplified in the fact that it only occured when looking at the "bigger picture" I.E my whole keyboard; If it were LSD than the rhythm of movement would have extended to the Micro and Macro: The effect would happen within the most minscule detail or blatant detail.
I think it is cool, but there are more efficient means of making this happen, such as eating a few pieces of paper;-)

Agreed.
LSD is much, much better, IMO.
If this made you start seeing fractals that move to the music your listening to or see intense, precise geometric paterns, and beautiful rich colors that you've never seen before, then it'd be more accurate.
Still really cool though. I'm at work staring at my ceiling now!
