Possible Blue Foot:
Habitat: Deciduous woods among beech trees and leaf litter.
Gills: The gill color varies from a light brown to rust color and are free of the stem.
Stem: Bluish-purple, 1-3 cm thick, very firm.
Cap: Light brown to gray, smooth, not hygrophanous, biggest one is maybe an inch and a half in diameter.
Spore print color: In the works, but I'd guess rusty-orange-brown.
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Picked in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Possible Big Gym/Laughing Mushroom/Spectabilis:
Habitat: Growing out of a dead tree by a creek.
Gills: The gill color varies from cream to orange and are attached to the stem.
Stem: Cream colored near the cap becoming darker brownish greenish near the base.
Cap: A light brownish orange with small raised bumps and a central umbo.
Spore print color: In the works.
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Picked in Eastern Pennsylvania.

with bluefoots aka P. caerulipes the spore print should have a purple/brown print ...everything you described sounds about right
look for blue stains if you can see some bluing on the stem that will give you the correct ID the only purple you should see from a bluefoot is from its spores the stem should not have a purple tint to it I say wait on a few more replys from those with more knowledge then me on said species personaly I don' t think thats psilocybe caerulipes very good ID request ,btw

The first species is probably of the Cortinarius genus. The second looks like a good candidate for gym.
A spore print will confirm both.

The first one is not a Psilocybe.
The second one is a type of Honey Mushroom.

No!!! Its a Cortinarius. Probably very poisonous. If its not a Cortinarius then it is Hebeloma or Inocybe, even worse. Did the spore print color turn out white on the second?

Yes, spore print on the second is white. I couldn't get prints from three caps of the first mushroom. I'll take some out of the fridge and try again, but in the pics you can see some rusty coloration in the gills and on the top of the stem. *shrug*

As already described, #1 is a Cortinarius and #2 is Armillaria tabescens, the Ringless Honey mushroom.

the second cannot be gymnopilus for it lacks an annulus.
the first supposed blue foot is very dangerous. dont eat what you dont know. death may occur with these.
