I used to have a cat named loki and as soon as he got mature, he started running off and coming back, the first few times it was only a couple weeks and hed come back after losing a fight I guess (He came back almost dead once), then he started running off for months, then it got to the point id see him a few times a year. Im guessing he made alot of kittens  there was cats all over the blocks I used to live on. He lived his life how he wanted to, im pretty sure he might be alive still today. The house I used to live at now has about 30-40 cats living with my old step brother :yesnod: The first batch of kittens was started by loki

Whether hes dead or alive, I know he was happy while he was alive.

I think names play a role in personalities of animals.

Damn man... losing a family member is difficult.  I went through something similar 5 years ago.  I still find her hair on my clothes :frown:

damn you make me feel bad for keeping my cat indoors

I know he wants to go out, I just can't bear the thought of him not coming back one day. I've owned a lot of cats and most of them had free roam to go outside if they wanted. It was fun to watch them play in the yard and all the neighbors loved our cats because they would visit the whole block.

but after so many tragedies (cats getting run over, catnapped, injured by other animals, etc...) I've decided its best for this one to stay indoors. We only let him out if he's supervised, and he can't leave our apartment complex, or else I'll scoop him up and bring him back inside. kinda cruel, I guess but its for his own good.

The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve."

This definitely brought tears to my eyes. I've got two cats that I raised since they were tiny (I had to bottle feed one of them actually) and I know I'm going to be heartbroken when they are gone.

Actually the girl is due to have kittens soon. If you lived closer I would offer you one!
