a MONTH with no signs of growth in my poobags
    #7461941 - 09/27/07 08:16 PM (16 years, 4 months ago)

wtf :frown:

knocked up with 60 cc of LC each... i thought that would be enough!?

the lc's were sometimes reaching high temperatures where i was storing them (maybe mid 80's when it got hot), and were about 6 weeks old when i used them, but looked fine

should i risk reinoculation? more of the same LC? make a new one with a spore print? crumble some spent cakes in there? damn

I think crumbling spent cakes in there was the most likely to succeed of all the options you mentioned.

Now that you've added 60cc of month old liquid culture ... it may or may not be ok

Mid 80's isn't nearly enough to kill myc. Check for contams?

It's afailure dude. Sorry to break it to you, it's happened to me. It was fault of the LC, ff there's no visible growth it was most probably a bacterial infection. Poo can be ticky *yah yah its tricky*
