i would like to pose the question to the forum again, im pretty sure i was misunderstood last time i asked.
does anyone see a downside of putting a fogmaker (on a timer for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours) into the coolmist itself? the coolmist is hooked up to 3 tubes going to my greenhouse.
would this be good for humidity and keeping my casing layers from drying out?

Depends on a number of things. A coolmist run 24/7 will leave standing water in your fc unless you use drainage. So adding to that, well, you do the math. It would help if you explained your set up a bit.

my ultrasonic generally only runs for 35-50 seconds every 10-12 minutes... depending on the time of year and how dry it is. Either way, I would suggest getting yourself a "Precision Cycle Timer". They'll run you between $70-100 USD depending on what and where you get it, the IGS-011 model suits my needs.

its just a regular 4 tier greenhouse with a a coolmist setup. 3 tubes coming out of the coolmist, each to a seperate teir. i know that the fog maker/mist maker will have to be adjusted on a timer as to not have lots of standing water and whatnot(running those 24/7, as far ive read, creates rediculous amounts of moisture).
i just wanted to make sure it wouldnt break the coolmist with the mass amount of fog these things are said to produce in a short time
also, regarding three 5/8ths tubing coming out of coolmist..do you think ill have any backpressure problems?

I just bought one of those fog makers at the flea market for $9 with a similar idea in mind. I would like to see how your setup turns out.

In all honesty, it sounds like a bit overkill.
