you could just crumble a little cake in each rye jar, or i have taken chunck of cake and placed in pc'ed water(1/2 pint jar), with glass chips or marbles. shake. make a syringe with mycylium water. use right away or store for later

I have not had success with the tek to make mycelium water. I have always had success to G2G transfers. I would treat the cakes like grain by crumbling them up and pretending they were grain. I think you'll have greater success that way.

Hopefully both ways work, the g2g way seems less air tight from contaims. You saw the pic of the jars i hit with crumblings right? ^^ hope that sh*t works.

PC your grains in spawn bags it makes it easier.
I just tried g2g 37 hours ago. open air-style. I got a piece of duct tape ready by sticking one end to the bag in the proper place, then sprayed the shit out of the air with oust, and had been doing so throughout, cut the spawn bag open and quickly throw your colonized material inside, flip the tape over the hole to seal it and set the bag to colonize. It's colonizing quickly, I'd say 15% after 37 hours. make sure you crumple the substrate well and use lots of oust.

This is amazing the BRF to grain is working wonderfully (so far) and the liquid culture injection i did at the same time is not showing ANY growth. The lcs have shittons of myc in them , maybe its just a slower process?
