question for bay area hunters.

what species of active mushroom do you guys encounter the most in your hunts. or do you guys do hunts for specific species and just pick those?

i am trying to research this topic and i have found such limited information that it makes me depressed. but teh shroomery pwns the whole net.

Totally dependant on area really. Id say you have just about as good a chance to run into Psil Cyan as you do "friscosas"

Hmmmm... I would say Ps. cyanescens and/or one of the "cyanofriscosa" or "cyclone" or whatever unidentified species it would be, are the most common Psilocybe.

However, in terms of actives, I think Gymnopilus luteofolius may be the most common active species in the Bay Area. Though, much less potent than the above mentioned species.
