I don't do the LSA but I've done other extractions and I assume if you are to use a non polar solvent to wash out the bad stuff and a polar solvent to grab the goodies afterwards, then both the bad and good are soluble in the polar solvent. Otherwise there would be no need for the different steps and solvents to begin with.

yeah but you can deffinatly do an acid base and make the goodies non polar
