use damprid from home depot, get it in the painting section. Its a dessecant. put a screen in a container with the damprid underneath and mushies on top.

I put all my mushies on top of a 20 fan for about 12 hours, this dries them a lot, and then i put them on a drying rack over calcium chloride. the brand name i got is called dry-z-air. you might not be able to find damp rid or damp gone, but all hardware stores will have some kinda calcium chloride. the fan is good because it takes most of the moisture out of the mushrooms, so you go through far less cc. don't bother reusing the shit, it's an incredibly messy job and it's better to just pay the $2 for more.

should i use a fan with some heat, and how long should i keep the mushies over the cc? and is there any other way? ( much appreciated...)

Dont use heat to dry the shrooms.

I use a 40w bulb suspended over the shrooms for drying.

They don't get hot, but they do get hotter than your body temp.

I've noticed no drop of potency...

Just my 2c.
