Anyone Like Bad Trips?

Most of my trips are completely terrible. Probably like 90% of them in fact. I'm not talking about trips that aren't very enjoyable I mean like I'M LOST IN THE WOODS I HAVEN'T EATEN IN 2 DAYS I'M TRAPPED INSIDE OF MY BRAIN SOMEONE-KILL-ME-NOW kind of trips and while they are fucking terrible at the time I come out of that trip knowing so much more about myself. Anyone else agree? I used to avoid mushrooms and acid and mescaline and all of that stuff for fear of bad trips but now I will take psychedelics knowing that it could go completely terrible but I'm okay with it because I know I will actually get more out of it that way ya know. Most people think I'm insane because of this but whatever

Ive never really had a bad trip, and ive tripped over 50 times i'd say on various things.
Although ive had some pretty bad thought loops in trips, when i come out of them i feel like ive confronted it and kinda gotten over it.
Im yet to have a really horrible trip, and i'd like to keep it that way.

Although I can't say I "like" bad trips while they're happening I know that it means I'm getting some important stuff worked out in my subconscious. So I'm happy to have it happen. I always come out a better person.

once when i tripped with Mj a lot, i had several bad trip's and panic attacks in a row.. and finaly, a week later, i felt i had feared all my fears and it felt so good.
that moment i was thinkin that maybe bad trip is a way how bad energy can get out of your body and mind, therefore making us pure
only bad thing in a bad trip is a "bad" in its name.

I always learn the most from my bad trips, but never enjoy them as they take place.
They are very rare, most of my trips end up pretty fine.

I have to agree with marshalldylan1, and also my "bad" trips are the ones I think about the most when I am not tripping, by far the most influential. So in a way I like bad trips it gives me tons to comprehend and think about!

I'm kind of looking forward to my first bad trip so I can learn about it. Fear is just an emotion after all, and I find drugs usually make that mentality more apparent.

I used to rue the thought of a "bad trip" back when I was fresh.
However, I've found that in general those experiences that send my mind writhing in agony and fear end up being the most profound and truth-revealing moments of my life. Often it is then that I discover myself and really define who I am. In addition, returning intact from the maw of madness makes the next visit a bit easier.
While I don't necessarily like "bad trips," they're part of the journey. To avoid them altogether would be to leave out a major step in this dance of self-development and growth.

I'd imagine with a large amount, like 7+ grams, a lot of people are going to find parts of the trip unpleasant and frightening. I don't think that necessarily makes it a "bad" trip.
I sometimes wonder, does anyone actually enjoy thinking they're dead? If you do enough mushrooms you probably will think that at some point.

I learned from my bad trip after the fact, but I wanted to shove a knife into my throat during it.

I don't know about actually thinking that one's dead, but...
I can recall a certain trip where, due to high blood pressure, and the apparent vasoconstriction that occurs while tripping on HBWR, I was fairly certain I was dying. My entire body was fairly stiff and my breathing was considerably slowed and shallow. I was also experiencing quite a bit of fatigue and felt the urge to pass out.
Now, I don't know if I would've died or not, but at the time I was pretty convinced that if I went to sleep that'd be it. There in that moment I was fairly comfortable with the thought of letting go. Not sad or anything. Just kinda, "Well, this is a comfortable ending. I'm pleased with where I've been and seen."

I think so.
I've never really been afraid of death, and since that experience I'm actually comfortable with the idea.
Or at least, I was until becoming acquainted with DMT.
My concept of after-life prior to DMT was something of eternal or extended rest. Now I've the impression that this existence is just one of many that I'm to experience, either sequentially or simultaneously.
It's a bit daunting to think of existence as an ever-persistent progression with no real rest or escape.

I agree.
Good trips are usually just for the fun of it. Whenever a 'bad trip' arises I know im going to learn a whole lot about myself.. this is why I never try an avoid them and try and embrace the shift in mentality when they do occur. There are no bad trips imo (barring all shitty situation possibilities etc)

i really dont mind, i have had a good deal of shitty situations arise but i dont let it bother i keep the peaceful mind. to achieve peaceful mind one must accept that all is perfect and if things werent perfect things wouldnt be able to appear not to be perfect in the first place. so fucking what if you car breaks or any thing else or you fall down a cliff. .
