Geurilla Hydro?

I'm not experienced with hydroponic techniques but I have a question for those who are. What hydro technique would be best suited for a geurilla grow?
The woods in which to grow are mostly hillsides with rocky and clay dirt. They are hard as hell to till and I don't think plants would grow well directly in it. And hauling enough dirt to any possible grow site would break one's back due to miles of trekking of road. Does a battery hooked up to any auto-hydro system in a remote part of the woods sound feasible?

You could do a cocos-drip system with a four times daily watering schedule. That way your battery will suffice the entire grow(the only thing that will draw juice is the timer) and with a big enough water reservoir you wont need to visit the locations all that often(once a week, maybe twice to check on things).
If you do that; make sure to post pics!

ALlright, I'll read up on the drip system. The problem with a guerilla hydro is that it would be my first hydro and any time I do something for the first time I usually fuck it up to a degree. That's a no-no in the woods.
I know how to do the reservoir, timers, and drip lines though.

It is the easiest hydro system to use in that place if you don't count hand-watered cocos and if you do that you'll need to go there daily. If I where to do a hydro grow outdoors the cocos drip system would be the obvious choice. It's also pretty cheap.

Well that's absolutely all there is to it.

if you have a clean flowing creek nearby, you can always divert constant flow of water from it.
i forget what the system is called, but you have a big piece of pvc, and holes cut out where your hydro baskets go, and the water flows thru the pvc, like a big sewer pipe transporting water, and the roots of the plant hang down into it. just be sure youre in a non-flood zone!

Well, I'm off to scout a spot. I'll test the soil too.
