Can you drink dunk water? i.e. is it active?

It occurred to me that since spent cakes are active and may be consumed for recreational purposes, why not drink the water they were dunked in? Since non-yielding cakes are not active, you'd have to use cakes that have already fruited. Has anyone tried this? Must I become a guinea pig in the name of science?

that actually makes some sort of sense. how ever i would think of it more along the lines as the cake is actually using the water for itself not emmiting back out and even if it did i would hypothesis you drinking about a gallon before any effects would become noticable........but hey im not a scientist.

normally when im dunking a cake it's because I just got done harvesting, which means I have shrooms, which would defeat the purpose of me drinking piss water to trip my balls off.
as nasty as that sounds though it does make sense....somebody was askin on here before about drinkin myc cake tea and the general consensus was yes, fully matured myc was active.

there was a tek posted about extracting the magicness with cranberry juice and ascorbic acid. you fill the jar with the ascorbic acid solution a couple times and drink up. i think he said that one pint jar is enough for a 'heavy' trip or you and a buddy can have 2 'nice' trips. look it up, i've been tempted to try it, but i haven't 'noced up any jars in a while.

there isn't enough active alkaloids in a pint cake to make a difference, why not wait another week for mushrooms.

Yes, yes, of course I have mushrooms, but this is a hypothetical question, and I know enough people eager enough to trip that they'd swallow anything, and, not to mention, who would ever want to waste any sweet, sweet psilocin? I dunked 2 pint and a half-pint cake in a large jar I had. Without changing the water (I know, risk of cross-contamination, whatever), I put another pint and half-pint in the jar. Come tomorrow morning, I'll have dunked 3 pints and 2 half-pints in the same water. Tomorrow night, I'll imbibe and relay the verdict.
Anything for the sake of knowledge!

well from what ive learned and have been told is that its mainly a waste of time to try to eat cakes, drink LC's and dunk water.. its kinda gross and may make you sick if there are contams. its just not a healthy idea and i dont think the potency will be even near to the shrooms.
LC's i know for a fact dont have enough in em to do anything unless you drink a gallon or so.
eating a cake? eew...
dunk water? even grosser.

ya a cake looks pretty bad after the first flush.Id never eat them.Just thinking about it made me spit my beer up.The water from dunking I would think would be way to diluted.

Yeah just thinking about it now make me a little queasy. This sounds like one for the bad idea list. Go ahead give it a try if you wish, but don't be if you find it to be not worth it.

well if nobody will step up i will be more then happy to take the challenge as soon as my cakes fruit......right now they are only like 60-70% colonized so it may be like 2 weeks. but i will try lucky me i have no taste buds so as long there is no chemicals in to which my stomach will act violently i should be good.

That water is possibly contaminated. Part of the dunk process should involve rubbing the cakes to dislodge any aborted pins/forming contams.
Would you drink Bong Water? Same idea...
