Monsanto, biotech firms, tobacco companies. My college has a botany college or some shit but it takes at least 2 years to get in.

Im thinkin there is some kind of job in the field that they walk around find plants and study them or make/find new strains/medicines stuff like that.. Is there? If so.. How would those guys get paid? Or am I getting it confused with something else?

To do that you'd need a Ph. D. With a bachelors in biology you'd probably end up doing stuff like vegetation/habitat/bird surveys, cosultation, or invasive species control. These days you'd most likely end up doing something with invasives. Doing that stuff you'd get paid just like everyone else.
However, if you get a bachelors and did well in school you could possibly get a graduate assistantship or fellowship which would pay you to go to school to get a masters or Ph.D. At that point you could get grants or a job that focuses on research, or you could teach.
I'm about 2 and a half months away from having a degree in biology and I plan on just doing some paid internships after school to get some more experience, meet some people, and figure out what I want to do. I'm thinking eventually I'll go to grad school, but that's only because I'm not quite sure what I'd like to do as a career yet.

There's a listing of biology jobs. Notice most of them are for post-doctoral positions.

Finding a good job in the field seems pretty hard if you don't have connections. It seems like most of the good jobs that don't require some sort of graduate degree go to people that have an in. Which is why I'm probably just gonna do some internships at first. Depending on who they're with alot of time you can get an offer for a permanent position when you're done with it.

Yep. Filling out tons of applications for some jobs doesn't mean shit. Knowing a person that works at a certain company is the best way to get in.
