Without a Doubt the weirdest little shroom I`ve ever seen.




Habitat: Next to a stream, streaming from a cow field, which is about 50 away from the spot i found it.
Gills: NO gills, this looks like a sponge, and is Yellow, and Bruises Blue.
Stem: Red, Very Strong, also bruises blue.
Cap: Almost Maroon in color.
Spore print color: Unable to take, this shroom has no Gills.
Bruising: Blue, almost Violet.
Location: Skiatook, Oklahoma, USA Its a Small town located about 20 miles north of Tulsa, Ok.

This looks like Xerocomus badius... Very common edible. It's not active if you wanted to know that.

I'm pretty sure that is a bolete,I have a whole yard full of that exact kind.But I'm not a mycologist,so I don't know for sure.

That doesn't matter. The cap will print fine using standard printing procedures.

Na, by far not all of them! Though I wouldn't eat anything I couldn't identify a 100%!

Good advice, however a few of the blue staining boletes are good to eat.
Yours looks a little like Boletus chrysenteron or Boletus truncatus, but make sure all the features match exactly before you think about eating it.

I didn't know that I thought all blue bruising boletes were toxic. I believe I'll have to study up on the boletes.
