id use myrtillo or tricho over cereus anyday :yesnod:

but if cereus species is wot u have easy access to, there is nothing wrong with it...

doubtful, i dont like spikey stocks...

i prefer a slower growing stock for lophs anyway, as it produces a scion more akin to an own root specimen, rather than an over bloated baloon :wink:

cpw instead of telling a bunch of people here that myrts are not good grafting stock, can you please tell them that it didn't work good for you, it has been proven many times that it is good grafting stock and many of us here use it with no problems

well my plants must have been stunted when I bought them  because they havent grown a bit. at the rate these fuckers are growing I would say Peyote grows faster on its own. I know my Terscheckii's do.
    but yeah so Myrts do make good grafting stock from what I read.
  just put me in a cryogenic freeze to wait :tongue:
  I will send you some Pilocereus Azureus if you dont have any just to fuck around with if you want. They seem to root easy from cuttings too.

  yeah they are spikey but the last graft I did I trimmed all the spines off and it worked well. The Terscheckii I grafted is growing in new spines already.
