Thought I would make a post before I went out this time lol. Though now the pressure is on to go out and get some good mycoporn lol. I'm going to the usual spots in hope to find some liberty caps but I will also check to see if the oysters are still fruiting that I found last week. Well send good vibes my way please! I'll upload the pictures of any finds when I get back :P

Well I went out, didn't find any liberty caps ... But I did find an array of mushrooms.
I found this one on the way to the field, it was growing on a dead upturned tree. This fungi, has, by far, the best texture and feel ever. It is like rubber sponge, or like tough silly putty. I couldn't stop pressing it
(TOP)

(BOTTOM)

(A younger specimen growing near to the above one)

The next mushrooms were found on the field which is occupied by sheep, I think most of them are some sort of Panaeolous, correct me if I'm wrong. (Pan. Foe.?)

Well this following mushroom is by far the best find of the day, I would like to know if anyone could do an ID on it also, it was found on the same field as the above possible Panaeolous were. I was most intrigued with this mushroom because of the red gills, very pretty

After just finding those mushrooms and no liberty caps I decided to go back but through the woods, I found all these mushrooms in a small clearing near rotting wood and Holly bushes.
Mushroom 1: (Was kinda eaten )

Mushroom 2: (Some sort of Pan?)

Mushroom 3: (Related to the yellow capped one?) The bugs obviously also enjoyed munching on this one too

Hoping you all enjoyed the MycoPorn! Shame its softcore, I'm doing my best to bring in some active hardcore... Just finding the talent is rather hard lol

1) The birch polypore, Piptoporus betulinus 2) Its not a Pan foe, and probably not in the Panaeolus genus due to the fragile white stem. My guess is Coprinellus. If you are interested, take a spore print and let us know the color. It would also help to have a picture of the gills. 3) I am not sure about this one without a spore print, but my guess is Agaricus. Mushroom 1) Russula Mushroom 2) Inocybe Mushroom 3) Russula
