i would agree, not a good question to ask. The mind for that small period of time is beyond time, beyond space. Time is unreal, in life too. It is within a constant change of flux, time has no meaning.

Ok, if you hate people asking you "Why..." just give a totally unrelated answer as if it explains everything. If they're tripping as much as you are, they will probably believe it.

Well this one time me and a few others were tripping on 25i, and this one kid who had never tripped before took 3 1mg hits (he told us he had tripped on acid before several times). And so an hour or 2 passes and were chilling outside and he's like shifting uncomfortably in his chair. So the friend who's house we were tripping at asked him "Did you shit yourself?" And for the next 5 hours he was caught in this loop where no matter what we said to him he would always respond one of these 3 phrases:
"I'm Sorry"
"I shit myself"
"It smells bad"
Now he didnt really shit himself but we sent him into the bathroom and let him borrow some clothes to change his pants, an hour passes and we are all like where the fuck is Steven. So we go into the bathroom and he has just been sitting there on the ground with the light off without moving for the past hour. And the firt thing he said was "I shit myself" XDD. After that he walked around for 2 hours holding his ass like one hand in front one in back walking around looking like he has some shit in his pants. Like 5 or 6 hours later, idk exactly, he came to his senses. Was the funniest shit I have ever witnesses.
Then there was this other friend who had never tripped. And he took 40mg of 4-Aco-Dmt and went on a ++++ trip (he said he had ego death and what not) He said it was like he was reborn, he passed out after throwing up and when he awoke he didnt know where he was, who anybody he was with was, pretty much he didnt know anything. He also said that our voices switched. Like when I would say something it would come out of my friends mouth. Then he kept repeating this one question in the calmest voice. "Can I die now?" "Is this forever?"
Fucking scary shit man.

Some great responses. For the serious ones, I think "what time is it" is a very common, and very bad one (for me, at least.) Any time I would think of that in a psych state, it would be an anxiety-producing thought for one reason or another. Whether because I was concerned it was too close to a time when I would have to deal with some responsibility that would require sobriety, or because I was tripping too hard to actually understand what the time ACTUALLY MEANT!!!
I can't count the number of times I sat with a very distant-yet-attentive look on my face, saying something like... eleven-twenty-five. Eleven-twenty-five-pee-emm. When did I dose? (looks at pad) Eight-forty-eight. So that was... er... fuck, um... haha, I have no concept of time. Okay, wait, I can do this... eight-forty-eight...thats...um...

Sounds like you tripped with some CIA mofos. If I caught someone using double-binds on me (bold statements) when I was tripping, I'm pretty sure they'd be in danger. I had an ex who seemed to love fucking my head up while tripping. The ones you list are pretty innocent, it seems... but TBH I consider that one of the most heinous forms of psychological attack, and I would absolutely fuck someone up over it.
Maybe that's why I've rarely tripped with others.

"What is it?" done me in like a kipper on one of my first strong Purple Om acid trips 20 year back. Followed by ... "I don't know what it is." like for 30 mins !  Being completely overwhelmed by every sensory input and in some kind of smeered out, dreamland like super clear spherical eyesight in a quiet urban street.Literally not having any capacity for linear thought beyond 5 seconds, before being distracted or forgetting why I was thinking what I was thinking, again and again and again ad infinitum, total confusion ensued. To me thats the definition of tripping balls even if the actual OEV's were not too crazy, like hyper real crystal clear and smeery/traily, electric jagged video frame jumps but not seeing elephants and all that bunk.
Another bad one would be the arising of the question.. "Did I take poison ?" if feeling unwell and tripping, never a good one i.e. not the drug you thought (RC instead of acid for example) or ate wrong mushrooms.

So long as this thread has already been necro'd...
In my tripping group, we play a little game called "What time is it?". Whenever anybody asks, we all have to guess what time it is before any of us checks. The goal is to get as close as possible.
The funny thing is that you go from way overshooting it to being reasonably accurate to way undershooting it as the time dilation drifts away. It's a really fun game to play .

My friends and I thought of the most hilarious thing that would freak someone out.
Get a group of friends together at a show and pick one person. Then every fifteen minutes or so, have a different person from your group go up to them and say "you need to wake up", then walk off.
I think it would freak me out beyond belief if multiple different strangers said that to me throughout the night.

Better yet, choose 2 people in the group who are unawares, and all night, agree with EVERYTHING one of them says, and disagree with EVERYTHING another says.
The one you agree with, no matter how shy and stupid, will end up saying the most eloquent, beautiful, soul searching shit. The other one will usually shut the fuck up, so use this to your advantage with a new person in the group and that annoying asshole who always tags along.
Once during a poker game, my buddy stepped out to use the phone, and my other friend goes, "When he comes back in here, ignore him like he isnt real" and it was the funniest shit to see him walk in, and say something, get no response, then kind of say things to people or groups individually, with just NO RECOGNITION, and eventually start looking around as if he's a ghost or some shit, trying to figure out if he can walk thru the walls now, haha.

There's a couple other times this dude has completely killed me and my friend's trips because he just can't sit down and enjoy it. He will always ask things like "dude what visuals you getting, or dude how hard are you tripping, are you getting universe mind shits?" ( his vocabulary is that of a 9 year old and his ability to comprehend concepts,words, and what people are saying is astoundingly horrible.)

Just generally people trying to look at my pupils. Its not an overt question but when friends get up in my face trying to judge what is going on in my brain by the size of my pupils is aggravating.
I mean I really love the fuck out of the guy i am thinking about in particular. But holy fuck it is annoying being 'examined' when tripping where i just want to do and be.

Are you sure it wasn't just 5 grams of really awesome placebo effect?
(No shame there, btw. Means you have a powerful mind)
I ask because that would make his behavior make sense, for one... and for two, I have never seen a 5+ gram trip that wasn't fairly intense. I have a hard time seeing some annoyance kill the trip that much. IMO if you eat 5g of decent shrooms, you're in for a ride no matter where you are or who you're with. Setting could affect your trip NEGATIVELY, for sure... but IME it should still be every bit as intense.

no he said I didn't look like I was tripping because I wasn't really happy how that night ended up, he kinda ruined my trip a little bit and for some reason he can't tell when people have saucer pupils hah. One time my eyes were blood red and my pupils were huge after I drank an LSA water extraction and he told me I looked fine to go out. I go in the mirror and my eyes look like their blood vessels burst and I had hardly any iris.. As far as the mushrooms, they were real haha. some people react very differently to dosages.. I remember when I first ate mushrooms I had an 8th and wish I had more. for me 5g is where the fun starts.

"You still feelin it?"- That one is asked way to much. "Did you trip at all? ", what are you seein?, "You gettin any mind universe shits?"- this is what my friend refers to as spirituality...
and yes being around people that are constantly putting negative thoughts in your head while your tripping brings you down so much. Especially people that are tripping and you can tell are in a very uncomfortable place. Especially those that are (in all honesty) not very intelligent, and can't carry on an interesting conversation.
also yes the mushies were good, I ended up eating a good bit of them with my other friends too and everyone said they were good. But to be tripping around someone who is always highly uncomfortable, anxious, and always seems like he's in a crisis while he's tripping will bring you down a good bit. The is my experience with those people. But yes I'd say that my 5g trip was brought down to 2.5-3g level just based on the fact I couldn't concentrate on my own trip. The come up was intense though! It's just when I became distracted is when it seemed to lose intensity.

DUDE! my second time tripping on mushys im not sure if this is true but for somereason when i was at plaid pantry (a 7/11 type store) i thought for some reason my friend told me not to think about a certain thing but i cant remember what that was! but i just walked into plaid and i was just all "oh shit man im trippin  ...." then thought that one thing my friend told me not to think about.... and after i thought that one thing and then my trip went downhill. but i have no idea what he told me cause i forgot like immediately
