non-polar solvents are easy to get. If you cant get one, you need more education before trying your tek

Hexane, Benzene, Tuolene, Diethyl ether, Chloroform and Ethyl Acetate are all polar nonpolar solvents, though i would do as above said and research a little more, maybe start here...

Hit up your local chemistry stockroom and get some dichloromethane, chloroform, diethyl ether, or hexane:smirk:

I used zippo lighter fluid for a non polar solvent. naptha yay

acetone and Methyl ethyl ketone are non-polar, you can get it by the gallon at paint stores. toluene would probably one of the best ones you could use. however, most of the time toluene is used for extracting crystal meth...so unless you have a good reason to buy it they WILL NOT sell it to you. i'm not sure how pure the chemicals are from any place but a chemistry supply store. good luck though, whatever you're doing.
