It "kinda" looks like a pedro but I figured it wasn't. I really need to learn to ID san pedros so when you say it's not a san pedro please for the sake of spreading your knowledge tell me why it not a san pedro.

I would say it's a Peruvian Torch Cactus, but that's just me. Trichocereus peruvianus. Although, I'm definately not a Cactiphile.

I won't say it is for sure, but it looks identicle to the Torch I bought last week. Not to mention the Torch is the closest lookalike to San Pedro.

This is a (fucking) Myrtillocactus geometrizans. VERY different from torch.

Thank you very much. Also while identifying San Pedros have you noticed some grooves on the ribs? Kind of looks like welding marks?
