First time casing, are these ready to be put in FC? They've only been incubating for 4 days, but myc is clearly showing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats usualy a personal preference, if its coming up that even all over the casing i wouldn't patch it...people usualy patch when it starts coming up unevenly....a little here...and a little way over there and thats it...when it does that i would patch.. but yours looks good man. good job

I thought you were supposed to put them into fruiting almost as soon as the mycelium breaks thru the substrate. You're supposed to wait until the substrate is almost all covered, though?

oh thats understandable it sucks when you loose one or mess up..when to put it in the FC is another personal preference realy but light and air on the myc. is what causes pinning, so the more surface area covered the better your chances. unless it overlays.

Thats what I'm trying to avoid,i know it can overlay easily.I've done cakes for almost a year and always noticed the cakes would always get real fluffy before the first flush.Just want to make sure the same thing happens with these casings.
