Well, as said, the best thing that you can do right now is to read all of the teks dealing with the pf tek. There are about three different ones on here that are all good. Search the FAQ's and use the search function. You will definitely be able to find all the answers to most of the questions you're likely to have. Also, you're likely to get more help from some of the people here if it looks you've read some or kinda know what you're talking about. I'm still a newbie myself but i've read hours upon hours on here. So, that being said....
If you haven't seen the videos on Youtube by Roger Rabbit, one of the moderators here and long time mycologist, go to Youtube and do a serch for "Let's Grow Mushrooms". There is a four part series that explains exactly what you need to do! These videos are the actual footage from his 2dvd set that you can buy, and I would strongly recommend buying it if you can. It's only about $40 with the Shroomery discount. Here is a link to the first video. Watch the videos, read, read, and read some more. Then if you have questions, come back and we'll try to answer them. Good luck!
-------------------- "In Vino Veritas" Mycology (from the Greek μύκης, meaning "fungus") is the study of fungi, their genetic and biochemical properties, their taxonomy, and their use to humans as a source for tinder, medicinals (e.g., penicillin), food (e.g., beer, wine, cheese, edible mushrooms) and entheogens, as well as their dangers, such as poisoning or infection.
