JK, but I did have worms, twice. I used to check out my doody as it squeezed out and ever since the second worms infection I have been too cowardly to check out my shit.
Anyone else had these cut little guys wiggling in your poop? If you eat pumpkin seeds they go away.

Too cowardly to check your shit? Get real! Check if you got em and if you do pop some cheap OTC pills for a few days and thats it.
If it makes you feel any better: some worms eat their way to the bowel walls and go live in your heart, liver, lungs and brain.

It's pretty gross to see worms wiggling out of your shit. Then your anus starts to get really itchy as you think about it. I love this forum.

Quote:
Infections with A.lumbricoides occur by the accidental ingestion of mature, embryonated eggs, typically in food or on fingers. The egg hatches in the intestine, penetrates the mucosa and passes via the portal blood vessels to the lungs. There the larva breaks out into the alveoli and is coughed up and swallowed. If large numbers of larvae are present this can cause verminous pneumonia. The larvae then pass though the stomach again and grow to become adult worms in the small intestine. A female A.lumbricoides can grow up to 40 cm long and weigh 9 g. An adult male worm is about half the weight of a female and up to 30 cm long. Large numbers of worms can accumulate in the intestine which can cause intestinal obstruction, or they can migrate into the bile duct or pancreatic duct and cause obstruction there.
Yeah bebbe
Go to a pharmacy, get Mebendazole and take 100mg every 12 hours for 3 days. That's 6 pills and you're in the clear. If you didn't have worms, all you lost is $2.50 for the pills.

I check my poo for worms constantly.. I think I see stuff in there all the time but I really don't, I'm just real afraid of getting worms. Not like my butt itches or anything, I just.. see a spot of ANYTHING and think it's worms.
