I bought one off ebay for 60 bucks or some fucking shit.
The guy is either a dumbass, or a dumbass scammer.
Either way, i'm paying a 13 dollar or some shit fee for a moneygram refund...
But TO EVERYONE CONSIDERING MAGNETIC STIRRERS FOR LIQUID CULTURE WORK.
Build your own.
I just made one out of an old hardrive magnet, random piece of magnetic rod shit from hardrive (ironically is a one ince long cylinder, perfect stir rod) , a piece of 2x4, 4 nails, and a 10 buck 12v power supply from GayMart.

I made one even though I ebayed one, the ebay shit just fell through so I built one today.
I have it to where there is slight, 1/4" vortex when being mixed. Better than nothing. I'm sure I will still play around with other types of 'stir rods'.
I would take pics but I don't currently have a camera, just a flowhood, custom fruiting chamber, 41 quart sterilizer, fridge incubation system and what not...no money for cameras! Only fungi and music stuff, that's what life is all about.

Ya know I have seen quite a few threads about magnetic stirrers but I don't think I have ever seen anyone make a step by step, easy to follow tek on how to build one....O well I guess my lc usually kicks ass without one,but I still want one anyway because I'm thinking if under constant stir the pieces wont clog my syringe over and over again

I actually just made one of these, and it seems to work fine. However it was hard to get the damn thing balanced. So hard in fact, that mine is a bit off balance, but it works fine anyways.
Used a hammer and a flat screwdriver to get the magnet off the metal-thing. Watch out so you don't slip and cut a finger off though!
Now all I need is some shrooms to grow so I can start cloning. Have my first 5 jars at about 80% colonization atm. So I guess I might have shrooms within two weeks!

Yeah, Western Digital makes INDESTRUCTABLE hard drives I swear, me and my buddy hammered the FUCK out of it, we brok the hammer! Finally though...the battle was one and the precious magnet was ours.
blood was shed on this day.
