Okay i measured out my rye and rinse it like 6 times and then i added 1 gallon water and 1 gallon coffee along with 1 tablespoon of gypsum per rr... it has been sitting since 5 pm last night so it has been about 28 hours i recently went to check and give it a stir and i noticed the water is not as dark as it was this morning and the water looks brownish or yellowish to me plus i see like alittle white foam or suds sitting on top of the water... am i good still? i know i still have to do the boil but should i rinse after i boil or before i boil? or should i just keep following roger rabbits tek?

the bubbling water and all that is from bacterial colonies' respiration. =)
i usually rinse afterwards, then drain until the outsides of the berries are dry to the touch/appearance.

It's fine, if you stirred it up a little the water would be all cloudy again... when it boils it'll likely look really thick because of all the starches in the water.

Nope. Soaking for several days is fine. The only limiting factor to extended soaking is the possibility of it rotting. I personally like to soak for 3-4 days. I notice a lot more nastiness that I am able to remove from my wbs.
