Well i'm a beginner and I hear a lot of people say to start with B+ but I don't really want huge mushrooms. Are the other strains really hard to grow or what? Are some strains like more potent than others? If so what would be a good potent strain that produces more of a quanity of smaller, medium sized rather than huge mushrooms? because I don't want to be eating a huge genetically deformed mushroom lol. I think I am going to give casings a try too along with the cakes. And also I found a pressure cooker so thats cool. But yeah I would really appreciate any advice/suggestions thanks.

Mazatapec is a good cubensis strain with pretty, often medium-small fruiting bodies. Cubensis species supposedly have similar potencies throughout- the difference is that each fruiting body makes a finite amount of psilocybin at the beginning, then any growth from there just spreads it throughout the shroom. That's why a lot of ppl go for the smaller ones (and why pinners are so potent).
B+ are good to start with, not particularly easier to grow than any other cubensis I've tried. B+ SPORES STICK TOGETHER IN THE SYRINGE!- Make sure you draw a small air bubble in, then shake hard until any clumps you see are dispersed. I made the mistake of forgetting to draw an air bubble with the B+ and the clump of spores all went into one jar, the others grew nothing.
Casing is definitely worth trying, even on your first shot. G'luck!

Golden Teachers are my favorite. I liked the shape of their fruits and the extreme bruising.

thai cubies are known to be the strongest. "Ban hua thanon" strain is my favorit. they colonize whit huge speed and density. they make realy nice flushes and the potence is huge for cubies. i allways have 5 good flushes from one brick= 50-60 dry gramms. look for it on google. is a perfect strain for beginner also. try it you will enjoy! good luck!
