a few quick questions for those of you following this.

my loph that sprouted, how long do i keep him under saran wrap and inderect light? im not gonna graft my first ones.

my morning glory sprouts are getting murdered by the sun.

my San Pedros are getting light brown scabs around their spines/spikes(what are they called?) ill get a pic up soon(tryin to stay clean for the night so i can play with my shroomies) but do you think it might be a fungus or some unwanted disease?

and a cutting from my large cacti in my back yard has been drying now for about a week+, the cut has scabbed beautifully, but the ribs are starting to turn brown and sink in, inbetween the spines...what gives?

thanks, Just Me

until it matures, keep in indirect light for its lifetime, until its more mature rather than a seedling then you can give it a few hours of morning sun then afternoon shade away from harsh sun.
keep your mg's away from direct sunlight, i had to find out the hard way

im not sure

if your cutting is in any sunlight then it will get thirsty can cant drink
be sure hes in darkness or total shade

no no, indirect light for its life
take off the plastic covereing when the seedling is well established and can handle air.
you use wrap to keep the humidity and protect the seedling from dry air, they are delicate and sensitive to air.
wing them air as soon as they mature, like everyday take off the wrap for a few hours
then put it back on a few hours till it gets used to being exposed

With my loph. seedlings I usually waited a month/month 1/2 before slowly getting them used to fresh air and light levels slightly stronger than indirect sunlight from a windowsill. Seemed to work quite well. You'll enjoy the cacti hobby, I certainly do. Good luck.
