I have a investment portfolio of 45k (stocks, bonds, mutual funds). My checking account has 4k in it. I have no debt.

The mortgage company wants around $49,000. Credit cards want around $1,000 Hospitals can go fuck themselves and their several thousand as well.
I'll be lucky to make my mortgage this month.
