Sinicuichi experiment

On Friday night, I started fermenting a sinicuichi brew... I've tried fermenting it many times before, with no effect, so I'm not getting my hopes up. But something about this batch seems different, I'll explain in a moment...
I took a branch of sinicuichi, about 20 leaves, and cut them up fresh, along with the twigs, and put them all in a glass of water. I wrapped the sides of the glass with aluminium foil, placed it on a heating pad, and put a bubbler in, to keep it agitated. Then, I thought, since I'm doing a FERMENTATION, maybe it would be helpful to add sugar? It wouldn't do any harm, and even if it didn't work, it would at least sweeten the brew. I put in a spoonful of sugar, and kept it warm and bubbling. When it started, the water was clear, there was no foam, and all the leaves floated at the top. Now, the water is a dark green, there is white foam on the top of the water, and the leaves sink to the bottom when I turn off the bubbler... I think something's happening...
Again, I don't want to get my hopes up, but this is certainly different from any other time I've tried fermenting it. I'm going to try some tonight, and I'll update you guys on what happens, if anything.

the fermentation you are talking about is with yeasts and creates alcohol and carbon dioxide as a by pproduct. the yeasts actually don't eat normal sugar. they eat simpler sugars such as corn sugar and even then it needs to be heated and broken down. so yeah I doubt it will really do anything besides make your tea sweetened

Hmmm... well, that's okay, I was going to sweeten it anyway... but why would it be foaming? Is it just the sugar?

Okay, I drank about half of it 20 minutes ago... nothing. The smell of the tea was very weird... unlike any other sinicuichi tea I've made... is this normal? It smells kinda like sinicuichi tea usually smells, except very sweet... sickening sweet.

That's what I thougt at first, but the smell, I recognized it from somewhere else... I just can't put my finger on it...
Anyway, I took another gulp, and the taste was so horrible that I figured that this stuff couldn't possibly be good for me, so I dumped the rest down the drain. Also, there were little white flakes floating at the top... they might be little specks from my popcorn ceiling, but I didn't want to take any chances. If it was active at all, I would be feeling it... it's been 45 minutes, and I drank about 2/3 of it.

iamshaman has interesting note on Sinicuichi. It is important to craft extracts from FRESH, not dried leaf, since the volatile oils are lost in the drying process. I suspect the fermentation process is just a method to get the oils out of the plant into the water. Probably why you experienced such a mild effect with tea. They sell a Sinicuichi 25x resin. I doubt that requires any tea preperation. Probably crack it up, sprinkle on toung , wash down but not sure yet.
Oh and 10g Amanita? Thats a relative term if you don't know how fresh it is. If you search around you will see 25x Amanita resin/acetate is available now too.

Smoked 25x Sinicuichi extract has caused weird things for a friend of mine, "clipping" in sound and vision, and warping of lines. Physically, it felt more anti-cholinergic than anything else.
And the hangover was bad.

made the tea - tasted pretty good, didn't do anything, made me a little sick.
tried smoking multiple times - tasted great, didn't do anything.
each time with the 25x extract.

I heard my friend had to smoke nearly 1/3 of the gram, and this was with some weed, of course...
