How animals respond to you tripping

I was reading this experience report on Erowid where this guy said his dog helped him get through his trip and I was wondering if you guys share similar experiences. Most notably I can remember my cat curling up to me and purring when I was having a bad trip with weed, something that the cat never did due to it being very new to the house and being socially introverted at the time. What do you guys think?

My cat Lindy seemed to able to tell that I had had a bad trip earlier in the evening (last Sunday) and kept me company for 20 minutes before she got bored and left my room. The thing that was unusual about her actions is that it was 2:00 A.M. at night.

mostly, I think, it's because the animals realize that you're behaving differently and they're curious (or in botha's case, pissed) to know why...

I think they can feel it. Its something about the vibes. I have had experiences where animals will almost run away dragging their owners behind when I am feeling in a really primal predatory mindset, and have them be very loving and/or social when I was in a more relaxed "I need some company" kind of mindset.

My friend and I were shrooming at my house once, when we decided to go out for a quick walk around my neighborhood. My cat followed us for our entire walk. That was the first and last time she's ever done anything like that.
I'm sure animals know when you're tripping... cats and dogs are smarter than people give them credit for.

I once tripped Saliva style with my cats and they were pretty cool with it, perhaps a little too relaxed.

Im pretty sure my cat knows when im fucked up. Especially tripping he always seems to act much more loving/interested in whatever im doing.
It seems like I can understand and feel the vibes from my cat when im tripping. I dunno though.. im trippin when i feel that. lol

Animals are the best when you're tripping. They're so primal and natural. There is no human construct present with their company.

My Chihuahua(with nice soft hair) mixed with another dog on my last trip curled up to me. She had been carrying around a stuffed animal as if it were her baby. She was making milk and everything and nesting these stuffed animals taking them everywhere. That dog gave me help when I needed it most. While I was in my bed in a shroom induced terror she made it all go away.
On the same trip my other dog who is really stupid tried to eat my shrooms when I set them down to answer the phone. Luckily there wasn't anything substantial there. That dog is such a pig.
