Depending on the strain that you are growing, you usually get between 3 and 5 grams dried be 1/2 pint cake. If this is your first time growing and you are unsure of how well you will do, I'd estimate between 3 and 4 grams dried per cake

cool... if I read the grow guide correctly, it says that you can more or less double your yield by using pint instead of half-pint jars. Is this a fair expectation? I'm interested in semi-bulk production as simply as possible, and I plan on using P. Cubensis amazonian strain.

i would stick to the 1/2 pints for your first few times simply to reduce colonize time wich will reduce the risk of contams untill you get the hang of the
sterility you need

don't use the fucking pint jars. they'll take twice as long and have that much longer to get contam'd. just buy double the amount of half pints. don't start doing the bulk thing your first time around, you will fail because you need to understand the mushrooms firsthand. the mushrooms don't like being grown in large quantites just to be sold. the mushrooms detest capitalism. you must love the mushrooms.
