Question about BRF/H2O "Agar" recycling...

I made 3 small jars of BRF/H20 to test out some LC's I recently made. They are all 3 good. But instead of throwing them out now that there purpose is complete, could I case them?

I guess reason there has been no responses is because your talking about a Liquid Culture project. That is something you do at an intermediate level, yet you ask questions that even a newb would know. I don't even know how to respond except that the only things I throw away are contaminated.

No, but folks don't live here 24/7, so it takes more than an hour to get a proper answer. Patience is key in this hobby. RR

You can either case them or spawn them to a bulk substrate. I'm assuming you're referring to cakes you made, but your post title, namely the reference to "Agar," is a little misleading. People may not even bother looking at this thread just because you have agar in the title.
Bottom line, you have a clean colonized substrate. Never waste something that can be used.

I believe what happened here is he used the "agar" recipe of brown rice flour paste. He used them to verify that his liquid culture was pure. Now that he's verified the purity of his culture, he wants to know if his colonized BRF paste is worth anything.
If this is the case ... Sure why not case it Tiny mushrooms are always fun to look at. Otherwise, use it as a start like an agar wedge for something else, you can inoculate jars with it (tho you already have LC of the same culture) or spawn to a bit of straw for kicks.
To tell you the truth, though, I'd case it and grow mini mushrooms for the novelty
