Veritas said: The articles available from flouridealert and other similar sites all seem to be based upon one study, conducted on small groups of gerbils, which the author concludes by saying:
Quote:
In conclusion, the human pineal gland contains the highest concentration of fluoride in the body. Fluoride is associated with depressed pineal melatonin synthesis by prepubertal gerbils and an accelerated onset of sexual maturation in the female gerbil. The results strengthen the hypothesis that the pineal has a role in the timing of the onset of puberty. Whether or not fluoride interferes with pineal function in humans requires further investigation.
How does this equal fluoride being a confirmed health risk and interfering with dream recall?
I know that this is a non-debate forum, but I have a tough time ignoring what seems to be false health information.
Glad you can grasp this, Veritas!
How, you ask?
By imposing it on themselves.. Believing it... It is called "placebo effect" ...
[BTW: If I post in P&S they move it here, and if I post it here, it is "debated", so I do not know what to do. (I do not mind the "debate".) The Mod's will hopefully move it if it is fit.. ]

its called DMT, in large doses studied people forgot what happened but during it could tell us what was going on...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyltryptamine
its an amazing drug and can be extracted from just about anything.
its inside your brain, and its a schedule 1 drug. so you're doing illegal drugs at night!
Wiki is as trust-able as a rotten dick.. But, hey!
Thanks for the notion! I surely agree!
BTW: I woke up this morning, recalled all of the dream, as if it was "just before", and had a laugh.. HAHAHA.. I could nearly not stop myself..
What a great way to start a/the day!

I think some of it may be that the waking mind cant process what happened in the dream. I always find the more lucid the dream, the more easy to remember, i think thats because its closer to the reality the mind works on when its concious, making it easier to process. The next time you day dream and you notice that you have snapped out of it, wait a little while, then try and remember in detail what you were thinking about, usually its like a blur to me. Like i know, i spent a considerably amount of time yesterday day dreaming, because everyone does, every day. But i cant remember it all really. I think the concious mind cant process things at that level.
