Yeah, pity Stuntzii aren't very potent, though this should be the one or the other trip you've found there. Baeos are really nice, I guess. Unfortunately I've never found them and there. At least they are as potent as Cubes
Glad you have luck yourself

Hello there. I've been lurking on these boards for a couple of years, soaking in the good advance, learning to grow, et cetera. Been hunting for a few years, but never found any actives (did learn lots about mindfulness and the little things of the ground). I was spending a lot of time in the PNW but always baled for the east before it got too rainy. Well, I moved out to Seattle for keeps this spring. I checked up on the hunting board yesterday, thinking it would be too early and y'all were finding fungi. So today I went for a stroll to a damp local park, and what do you know? A big old field of cyans under a tree, some mature, tons pinning. They practically glowed, so much richer and livelier looking than the various meager LBMs that were otherwise populating the understory.
Anyways. I'll post pictures if my roommate gets home with his camera any time soon. But just wanted to say hello and share my excitement.
Oh, and what kind of dosage are looking at with cyans relative to cubes?

what's really sad is that you've found a bogus way to 'justify' picking a patch of pins. they're pins dude!! let those babies grow to reach their full potential, and if some other selfish and impatient morons decide to rape the patch anyway, then too bad so sad. at least you keep some dignity for yourself that way...there are wayyy too many cyanescens growing in this city to be feeling like you have to pick pins.
i'm going out hunting next week with my camera. see you guys then.
and nice finds @cro & psily. you two always find early-fruiting patches it seems. what's up with that?! are those woodchip beds surrounded by sprinklers or what? i checked some prominent spots of mine on monday and did not find a SINGLE cyan pin.
soon enough though, soon enough

Nope, you really didn't, that was just greed.
Edit: You beat me to it Soularize. Yeah, everything I've found so far has been in areas that I know are watered or newly planted areas, where I assume they have been watering.

After crawling around for 30 minutes or so looking for pins I found 1 single pin popping up in my earliest-fruiting patch in NW Oregon. Another week and shit will be poppin' off, I imagine. Yay!

Wow.... that is really, really lame. Let them grow. That is no kind of excuse. There is no excuse for picking pins.

They grow all the way down to the sf bay area and I believe they have been found even further south.
