How did you end up in the E.R.
How much is an eigth? I don't have a scale. Let's just say an average sized cyanescens mushroom - how many "average" cyanescens are an eigth or a gram, approximately?

You can't tell by the number of mushrooms. there's no realy average size for them, for ot pretty much depends where they grewe etc. If I were you, I'd try to get my hands on a scale. It's the only safe way to tell how much you're up to consume!

Yeah, any suggestions? I hear if you want one that REALLY works you got to cough up a good amount of change.

I absolutely agree with Fahkface here... because of the differing phenotypes (size/shape/etc) of the mushrooms in the wild, a "good dose" could be anywhere from a fraction of a mushroom to several - depending on how much they weigh and what species they are. (species, as discussed above, helps you determine an average potency to compare against when deciding how much you wanna munch)

Well, with mushrooms, you really only need one that goes down to .1 grams... those aren't too too expensive nowadays... and it really is the only way to determine for sure how much you are taking. (and even then, potency is highly variable, so if you're not experienced with a particular species (or even a particular batch for that matter) either be prepared to start a little on the low side or be prepared for a hell of a ride )

Well, I've been on many, many trips. Everytime with Cyans, except one time Cubes.
I did them alone in my room and I was literally not in my room anymore. I was in a universe of color and organic shapes. Those were cyans that took me there. I had ALOT. I just don't have anything to measure the amount so I just eat whatever I have and let it take me where it wants to take me and what it wants to show me.

I did that for my first time in 2 years. I started out with what I thought was an eighth, and then just ate one every 5 minutes or w/e until I was seeing shit, must've eaten 1/4 at least. i was seeing weird patterns in the shade of rainbows. I got to the point where I didn't wanna be seeing all this shit, tried to sleep, found it difficult, then spent the rest of the time mumbling and rambling to myself.

WHOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, after many long searches i've finally found my most prized find yet.....for the first time: Psilocybe Baeosystis!!!! I was out working in someone's yard when i noticed an area in their horse field where they'd spread out a bunch of animal bedding woodchips from their barn. I thought i'd take a peek, and i'll be damned if there wasn't a nice cluster of them popping up. I thought they might be blue ringers at first, but as i saw the serrated margin, the deep blue-green bruises on the stems and the overall appearance upon a closer look i knew what they were. the patch wasn't too huge, but a few of the baeos were....check it out:

the only bad part was that these were super mature mushrooms and almost(but not quite) ready to rot. a few slugs had gotten to a couple of them too. Makes me wonder what this little patch might have looked like a month ago...who knows, it could have been 5 times bigger. here's my total haul, not very many, but enough

and now sporeprinting............

Here's one you can kinda see the deep blue-green bruise on one of the stems:

and here's some more pics of my haul(sorry for the poor lighting)

Oh and by the way, yesterday, the exact same thing happend while working in another person's yard, but with Cyans...just a small patch('bout 1/2 lb. fresh), but HUGE fruits(and in great shape too, no rotten ones)....the biggest i've seen yet(the biggest cap was about 'round as my palm...a little less.) Who says the season's over??? Happy Hunting

i keep finding patches that are just pinning up, then i'll come back the next day even to check on them and they'l be just torn the fuck up. it's a real shame. so many spots just get rapetified...i witnessed 2 high schoolers literally destroy one of my favorite spots. i started off trying to be nice and explaining to them about how to go about picking them and just asking them to be respectful, to me, to the mushrooms, to the rest of the community who might want to come and get a few, etc. i go over to check another spot and come back 5 minutes later, and there is no remnants of mushrooms of any sort left. There was literally hundreds of tiny pins, would have been enough for like 3 people to trip maybe, but in like 4 days would have been like 2 ounces... I was angry, i started yelling at them that i hoped they had a good slaughter, and that they felt good about themselves for commiting rape. they just laughed....kids these days
