Sorry, my baeo patch hasn't shown life, yet. But I'm loving this early start to what will be a great season for cyans.
I'll post some baeo pics when they start poppin' in my somewhat secret spot. For now, here's what I found, today.

Today we found 190 grams of adults..... not that we picked them, that would be illegal. and there are atleast 500 pins about to be adults in a week or two...oh Seattle you are amazing.

oh and at a rest stop we found about 15 of these beauties intact.

ALL RIGHT just checked my oe known patch and i got about 4 pins coming up it looked like someone had already picked some in the area so i covered them up with leaves and prayed. hopfully 2-3 days plus rain will make them trophy size and hopfully no one snipes them.
but none the less its great to see cyans growing right infront of my eyes again magic

They are using doug fir instead of redwood and bark as decrotive landscaping. They are dying it red, black, and brown. This is great news for hunters. This stuff is cheaper then bark, can be made any color, eco friendly, and mushrooms eat it up.!!!!

i was shocked when i saw cyans in a doug fir mulch bed last year, now i look at any kind of chips as potential habitats. im sure they prefer hardwood but hey.
