Don't fucking pick pins. It is a noob thing to do....and a dick thing to do. It ruins everybody's fun. If you pick pins then your ruin the patch because you aren't letting the spores drop.

Just about everybody must be jerk then, because who waits until every single mushroom has dropped their spores to pick them?

I still have objections but I want to let it go, since this is not the thread for it.

:chillpill: <--- Take it.

There's no reason to be picking pins, period.  You're screwing everyone when you do it and since all you really care about is you, yes, you are screwing yourself too.

Are pins more potent gram per gram than fully developed mushrooms?  Absolutely.  Is half a patch of pins equal to half a patch of mature mushrooms?  Not even close.

There's NO reason for it.  Everyone here who puts in a half-assed effort will find more mushrooms than they know what to do with.  Unfortunately, even the ones who deserve them least.

The season hasn't really even begun. How many pics of cyans are there in this whole 10 pages of WAY too much fluffy, filler shit?  A few finds?  I've been picking cyans for years and have years worth of patches to go to.  It shouldn't come as a surprise that the people who've been picking the longest are going to be finding them the earliest.  I went out today for a couple hours, just hunting, places I've never been to and didn't find shit.  Well except some stunzii patches but that doesn't count  :P

Point is peak season is a long ways off.  Don't get so uptight, you don't need to pick pins.  You're not desperate, which only makes you look greedy.
Relax, be patient, there's months of fruitfullness ahead of us.

Now no more talking.  This threads for confirmed pictures.
Blah.

I can't believe everyone's getting all riled up over the fact that he picked some pins. Chill the fuck out guys it's not like you own the patch or anything and he really didn't know any better obviously.

On another note I'm going out hunting for some Cyans early today so I'll post if I find anything.

That's why we tell him! And it's about ONE guy picking pins but a whole army of guys "who don't know better". Living creatures need time to grow and everyone who can't wait for them to be ready, shouldn't deal with them in the first place...

Enough with the drama already, I am stuck in Mazama at the moment and far from my stomping grounds. I love watching the downfall of a good cyan patches that get discovered. It goes from great to good to bad to worse and then all thats left is a gaping hole and a guy driving home with a bucket full of bummed out woodchips. Transplanting a patch in such a manner often never works so lets just head this one off at the patch.

Acro and Psilly, I ment this crazy cool dude up here yesterday (you know where i live) who was trying to send me packing with tales of "its to early you gotta wait for Febuary" and "oh man yoou should go check this place out". I think we go in that direction and just start misinforming people. No more pics, no more anything but misinformation, that will keep these bastards guessing.

Can we move on, now? I'm pretty sure we're all crystal clear about not picking pins. Let's breed a little positivity, shall we? How is everyone's weekend going?

Wow. People sure like to correct people negatively. I'm tired of reading people ripping this guy a new asshole. Talk about finds, then.

well its annoying. The fact that this thread is for Finds has been posted multiple times, let alone it states it in the subject. If you had read the thread you would have known that.

Nothing is stopping anyone from answering in a way that relates their responses to finds. Next time I'll add the question, "Finding anything good?" at the end of my, "How is everyone's weekend going?" to bridge the gap.

Thats just a technicality. This thread is FOR finds, no one is holding back, they will post therefore there is no need to ask whos found some. its redundant.
