I just downed two of these babies (my first ever cyans!! here's the pics. Sorry they're not any clearer, but it was sort of a public place and I didn't want to look too suspicious. In total I got about 40, but I left another 40 or so small ones, and I could see tons more pins poking up

I'll be sure and get some better pics in the next few days

I went about 30 minutes east of Portland today and found some mushies. Not sure what most of them are but I'm taking prints and I'm pretty sure that one is a shaggy mane.
I tromped around in the woods for like an hour or an hour and a half and didn't find ANY mushrooms. Then I go to the field/picnic area and find a couple, including the shaggy mane. I went to a picnic area that was taped off (except the side of it was open) and had lush, green grass that made me think it was purchased and laid there. That's where most of the mushrooms were found.

Not much, but here's my first sighting of the season:

Found a second grouping in a surprisingly exposed pile of chips (sorry, no pic)
Good Luck to everyone, -DD
BTW this thread needs more pics!!!

That's actually two pictures of a lone mushroom I found. Since it was alone I didn't pick it but if I'd found a lot of them I'd have taken a few to cook (at least after getting a 100% ID, even though it seems obvious what mushroom it is)

Went out to some patches with @cro today, one is coming up beautifully, not much else though. We did find a few new patches, but they were pinning so we left them. Methinks this rain is really going to get things going!

Heres some pictures of the first find of the year. Looks like it should be promising. We've had a ton of rain lately.

It's Tony Iommi! Play Sweet Leaf!! Seriously though, lots of blue ringers so far this year...I don't think I've seen so many pics of Stuntzii on this thread in years past (the 3 that I've been here anyway). Nice chanterelles Glacier Creek. And nice haul fliped. I hope I can contribute some photos soon. Might be nice to find some Stuntzii. That would be a first for me!!
Happy hunting shroomerites!!

Nice finds Tec9.
Psily and I went out for a bit today and those pins are coming along nicely. Don't think they'll make it through the weekend though. We'll see...
