It depends where and what im trying to accomplish with the trip.
If it's at a psyparty I'll bring: Smokes + Lighter Wallet with a little bit of money Phone Gum Depending on where the party is I might bring my mp3 player but I usually dont.
If its out in nature somewhere: Sketchbook + Drawing set A few books Mp3 player Fruits, I always bring blueberries for perception and something to snack on. Gum Water Candles Blanket Wallet + Cash
If I'm doing a high dose I'll only bring water, fruits, a little bit of money, and a paper with my name and address and stuff on it.

I must say you should all consider nixing the cell phone from the list, or at least turn it off and keep it just for emergencies...definately one of my rules when I trip with people. I was with some 'friends' once and they, being technological fiends like everyone tends to be these days (constantly playing with the texting, worrying about who to call when they're really just tripping out and don't need to call anyone...) It ruined everything, they ended up leaving me and my friend in the woods because their phones remined them how "disconnected" they were from their social life at that one moment. (HELLO, WE DROVE ALL THE WAY TO A SECLUDED PARK AND ATE AN EIGHT EACH JUST FOR THAT REASON!!!) Damn I fuckin' hate the things. They are airwave intruders during the perfectly good vibe of the trip. If you really want to connect with what you're doing, nix the phones and PDAs and whatever. They mess up your head, especially when you answer and it just ends up a really stupid, confusing conversation. Music's all good of course though.
I literally have what I call my Mary Trippin's Bag full of fun stuff. Some of the stuff I might bring...
-Shpongle, Thievery Corp, Death in Vegas, Clouddead, Zero 7, 1200 Micrograms, Grateful Dead, Yes, the list could go on... -Drinks. Water or Gatorade. Nothing that leaves extreme aftertaste. -My Salvador Dali book. -Playdough -Paint and some form of a canvas (maybe a tree you find!) -This sound-response light thing I got a Spencer's -One of those jelly Koosh balls -Marijuana -Camera, if possible. I got some REALLY weird pics back from my last trip...you have to "figure out" what each one is... -Sour Candy, especially those drops...(my friend and i had a contest drinking those when trippin...I HAVE NO IDEA HOW.) -Lots of other stuff but my 4 fo 40 syringe pack just came in the mail ironically gotta go!!!

Well, I try to bring along my mind, but usually just end up losing it. Hell, I even have a hard time keeping track of my body.

Backpack with the following
weed and pipe or papers Cigs and lighter knife (may seem strange but it really does come in handy sometimes) hoodie flashlight candy or fruit maybe some benzos
Everything really depends on the situation, if I'm at a friends property, or a festival, or whatever.
I also like to bring water and OJ I usually get a gallon of water and a half gallon of OJ then pour a "carry on" bottle of water and leave the rest at "base camp" I always drink the OJ to down the booms and for some flavor after the comedown.
Also, I never trip without my trusty boom box and ipod, that combo has made for a many amazing trips in the woods. Nothing like blasting some CSNY in the middle of nowhere while your losing your mind!
It seems every one has it down to a science, bring only what you need, nothing else.

I'm glad to see that other people feel that nasty radiation of electronics while tripping. I think it's because natural substances really make you feel connected with naturality of the earth, thus we recognize very unnecessary, "unnatural" aspects of life and resent them. Just my thought.

Backpack (even for day-long or two day trips)
- Slippers (Im also one of the barefoot in the forest types) - water - more water - headlamp - change of clothes - weed or cigs if necessary - mushroom tea in a flask (lots of tea) - pen and paper (all-weather type) - brain (can do without it usually)
Oh forgot - Knife and extra sandwich bags in case I find something I need to take with me to civilization. All extras like keys and cell etc stay in a sandwich bag the whole time inside backpack.
