the boxing effects of psilocybe cubensis

The only mushrooms I've ever tripped on are P. cubensis. I don't really have a problem with that, though I'd like to try cyanescens or azurescens. But my real question is about the species' "boxing" effects. I've noticed that whenever I shroom, I tend to feel rather "tied down," too confused and disoriented to get up or move around or really do anything particularly active. When I do, I get very uncomfortable and defensive-feeling, like I just want to get home and be by myself.
This contrasts quite starkly with my LSD experiences, which are just the opposite: very active and social. I've been in the city and at school on acid with absolutely no issues, and the trip usually makes me want to be with my friends.
I talked to my brother (who has experience with the aforementioned other species of psychedelic mushrooms) about these effects, and he told me that the "boxing in" effect (his term for it) is a common effect of P. cubensis, and that trips on azurescens and cyanescens are generally more similar to LSD in that they are lighter-hearted and more conducive to physical and social activity.
Has anybody else noticed this?

with me it depends. if i'm in a room on shroomies, i think it's the greatest place ever, and going somewhere else wouldn't be worth it since this is the greatest place ever.
But generally if i go into the bathroom then, and am slightly annoyed at losing the wonderful setting, but i have to stay in there long enough to finish my business, and by the time i stop peeing, i love the bathroom. want to stay there as long as i can, and am sad to leave to rejoin the others in a different room.
Same with tripping outside, and travelling. when you are sitting inside thinking of it, it doesnt sound that great, but once i'm walking along and give it a chance i get really into it.
I'd even go as far as saying: in hindsight, my travelling to and from locations by foot have been the best parts of my trip.
so to sum up: i can see where you are coming from, but it's a mental thing not a species of shroom thing. Different strain of shroom may give the slightly different effects that may make u a bit more in the mood for these social things you talk of, but i think it's more just in your head.

dude, eat your mushrooms fresh many people don't believe it but fresh mushrooms indeed have a much more energetic effect, at least on me could have to do with the psilocin, to which the psilocybin gets converted best is to pick the mushrooms out of your cake and eat them right away if that is not possible, store them in the fridge for 2-3 days maximum (you can actually store them up to a week, but that's risky) mushrooms are SUPPOSED to be eaten fresh if you eat your shrooms fresh, you have a fresh trip if you eat them dry, you have a dry trip it's as simple as that
