I also just wanted to mention, this all reminded me of the Delhi bombings in 2005. I remember when it happened. I was reading an article about it, and it said somewhere in between that the u.n. and the u.s. had gone on some type of "red alert", like level 5 or something, the highest level. I thought to myself first of all, why does u.s.a need to go on top alert for a bombing that happened half way around the word? Let alone the whole u.n. for that matter? Responding the way that they did is actually working with the terrorists. And my honest opinion is that they very may well be.
I remember when 9/11 happened. I woke up early that morning, and sat down in front of the tv, and all of the sudden this was on television. It had just happened. I turned on my favorite radio station at the time, and I listened as the people on there were so sad and distressed. One person sounded like she was sobbing. I called her (the dj) and said something like " you know there's a reason why this happened". And this is a seriously counterculture radio station (107.7) And more and more I witnessed the bubbles of ignorant people being broken, and recognizing that their fragile little world was being invaded. They had no idea. They had no idea why these people were doing this. And they still don't. People need to wake up.

Yeah, the reason was that the walking cock in the Oval Office was more interested in getting some chubby trim than in actually killing someone who had already attacked us, which he had ample opportunity to do. And the cunt Carter's feckless and cowardly response to Iran's attack on our sovereign soil.

I gonna go out on a limb & guess that you have no idea why most of the rest of the world (outside of Israel) has a negative view of America.

No, you aren't. As most people know embassies are the sovereign soil of the nations they represent.

In which case the murder of those innocent men and women would have precipitated a wholesale slaughter of Iranians which even the feckless cunt Carter could not have prevented. You have really exposed yourself as something quite different from the peaceably entheogenic person you pretend to be. Again.

Wow! Please humor me and list out a few of the reasons why the captors would have been justified (your wording: "every reason") in killing innocent civilians? I'm extremely curious on your reasoning.

nah, probably because the rest of the world is tired of the US Government interfering in their politics clandestinely. 'Sovereign Soil' works both ways, you know.

probably. but are they propping up a monarchy like Saudi Arabia for business purposes?
when I see how those saudis live (outside the royal family, of course), it doesn't surprise me at all that some of them would sacrifice their lives to attack the nation that supports their oppressive government.
WTF did you think was going to happen?

Although this is common nonsense from the left, the US is not responsible for "propping up" the Saudi Royal family. They are wealthy enough and devious enough to do it quite well on their own

> I said the hostage takers had "every reason" to do so in accordance with the practices of the U.S. government.
No you didn't. Your exact quote:
Quote:
Oh... the U.S. embassy in Iran supporting the U.S. puppet dictator hated by an overwhelming majority of the Iranian people. What a tragedy... that hostage incident. They're lucky their captors didn't executive every one of them; they had every reason to.
Twist it all you like, but you made a claim that the hostage takers had every reason (would be justified) to murder their hostages (innocent civilians) because the majority of Iranians had a problem with their "US puppet dictator". In light of your nickname, I find the above comments to be very ironic.
> The primary difference is that the former takes a lot more courage & conviction.
No, the difference is in the targeting of civilians. It is easy for cowards to target civilians. It takes courage and conviction to go up against an armed military. The guys that hijacked the planes were cowards. And before you start making more assumptions about my position, I would not consider the insurgents (that target the military) fighting in Iraq to be cowards. Can you not see the difference between attacking unarmed civilians and military targets.
> If the U.S. was justified ...
Oh, so two wrongs make a right?

That may be your opinion, but the vast majority of Arabs & Muslims have a different one. I don't expect you to share it, but you should know it exists.
They believe a lot of stuff. So what? They are astonishingly ignorant people.
