shrooms are digested by your stomach acids pretty fuckin fast. like within 20 minutes chewing isn't needed theres way too many drug myths out there

I've heard you can grind up shrooms and stick 'em in capsules to swallow them. I'm gonna try this someday.
I just hate chewing on dried-out mushrooms, though... positively gagifying. Leaves me with the sense of something gross in my stomach, which isn't very good for the trip itself. I usually make a tea. If you know what you're doing the tea literally tastes like nothing and has all the potency of the mushrooms.

I do that sometimes. it works just the same but theres more work involved. however I can take a bunch and stick them into a pill bottle from Kava Kava or something and carry them around with less worries than carrying mushies.

I haven't had the chance to try fresh, but for dried mushrooms I also don't mind at all eating them straight; in fact i enjoy it greatly now that I think about it. I think my brain has been conditioned to associate the scent and taste with such a great experience that it really doesn't bother me.
I always thought of it as having the taste and texture of stale bark..which I have not tried, but for some reason, something inside insists that is the best comparison.
