just wait to be contacted by a mod and they will clear your misconceptions of reality up. A couple of pages ago someone even said the name of a deadly shroom that grows in cow fields. And by the way, theres no magical cow field fairies that make sure poisonous mushrooms dont grow in fields. You ever look at a field? Lots of grass and wood areas that can sustain the growth of any mushroom found in the region (including poisonous ones)

As for original poster. Post a freaking pic of that mushroom showing blue and I'll say all these jokers were right. otherwise if u think pic #2 is blue....you are sadly ignorant and have no experience what so ever with pan cyans
dude, open your eyes and look at picture #2, i mean really man, is your monitor broken? also who cares about a picture when i specifically said earlier in a reply (that maybe you stumbled over during your rant) that these things were as blue and can be? you said something right though, i have no experience with pan cyans, thats right, and thats exactly why i asked wtf they were. Eightball, i would like you reread every message in the forum and possibly give some closure *cough* an apology *cough* *cough*, especially mine because I'm the one holding the damn things!
but seriously no grudges, but next time, can everyone approach identifying a little more scientific and less opinion based?
btw the spore print came out black

That's great you are so cautious about getting a proper id, but there is no poisonous mushroom with a black spore print, which grows from shit, and bruises blue. So the worst thing that wiil happen is that he won't trip. Sprokus also said they blued heavily. There isn't heavy bruising in the pic, but that's not gray man. That is a psilocybian blue. And it is on a mushroom with black spores which grows on poo. And it is absolutely not an antillarum. Hmmmm, what else could it be? Also, no one who responded (implee, wowitch, Allan), would ever tell someone to eat a mushroom with deadly lookalikes, or poisonous lookalikes for that matter based on the info given to ID the cyans. So just relax, until sprokus posts more determining pics. Your gonna give yourself a fucking hernia.

This thread has been closed.
Reason: You guys, break it up!
The issue of "look-a-likes" is subjective. To an expert, there may be few or no look-a-likes for a given species, and yet, in the eyes of a beginner, all mushrooms may look the same.
Poisonous mushrooms can, and do grow in cow fields. You cannot know the terrain of every field, to know which species might grow there. Off the top of my head, Chlorophyllum molybdites is a poisonous species which is often encountered in pastures.
