..is it normal if a mushroom turns greenish after picking it? Kind reminded me of when you take a bit of an apple and leave it sitting and it turns brown. Except the mushroom turned a bit green, not like the whole thing....but... yeah, normal? Or contaminated?
Also, when drying them out, how dry should they get. Because I dried some out for a while but it still feels a bit spongy when I feel it.

The coloration you are observing is oxydation of the active alkaloids found within the mushroom.
(turns a blueish color when it oxidizes)
Any mushroom when dried should be "cracker dry". If you were to take a handful of them and squeeze then they should all crumble or crush. You can eat a mushy that is not fully dried (and only if it is still close to being "fresh", but you cannot store one that is not fully dried as they will begin to mold and/or rot)

I would say that at most they should turn a slight blue upon harvest i really dont know about green. If you got your spores from a reputable source then i guess its an anomily but if they feel spungy then let them dry a bit more what is your drying method?

I had them in a dehydrator but I no longer have access to it. What is an easy way to dry them a bit more?
