Id'ing Desmanthus

I found a couple different types of fern today, one which looked alot like my desmanthus I have except it had little yellow balls on the underside of the leaves. The others leaves were kinda longer looking... Is there anything that makes the desmanthus species stand out compared to other ferns? I could literally fill garbage bags with what ive found today if it is desmanthus.

Hi, What you found today were ferns and not Desmanthus.Desmanthus won't have those "yellow balls" on the undersides of the leaves. The yellow balls are called Sporangia, which contain spores. Desmanthus belong to a different family Fabaceae, they have leaves and not fronds(ferns) and will also produce seeds.Have you tried Erowid for pics?

Yea ive tried erowids pics, i found two different ferns, one looked similar to erowids pics and one type looked more like my small desmanthus plant but with the balls. Ive acctually tried googles pics, erowids pics, plant usdas pics, quite a few places pics(just fyi ).
The other fern was wierd, the leaves on it were more narrow (in some pics i seen desmanthus at bigger sizes will get narrow), but i didnt think that one would be a desmanthus.
Where on a picture will it tell me a couple traits/characteristics to look at two different ferns and say, that ones desmanthus. Ive read this thing on erowid and its about indentifying them, Im just looking for a couple traits desmanthus have that no other fern really has.

does it look anything like this?

it's getting kind of late, so most of the flowers are gone (pink) but some remain.
