Actually, here in Japan there is a food they sell called Natto which is cooked soybeans innoculated with a certain type of fungus.. it is REALLY healthy and it actually might make a good substrate... Maybe I'll try that!

nubis- th@ natto kinda stinx huh? my family eats it sometimes... by the way, do you know how to prepare soy beans? im just throwin mine in a rice cooker and praying...

Mad Prophet-You can throw the soybeans in boiling water and cook them....

Condi1 dont feel sorry bro... im here by choice.. originally from New York .. but it sucks some time because I cant get all these little things you guys say (go to wallmart and get it) so I have to rely on mail order if its necessary... Still its pretty cool here and the best part is (((Shrooms are Legal!!)))

I am currently growing from Soy Bean Flour side-by-side to my Rice flour casings...

Rice flour casings looks healthier and the Soy Flour takes longer time but it works. A few more days until harvest...

I'll post results later on...
