Temple of The Mushroom

Hello, I just registered here. Now is mushroom season here in Scandinavia, and the mushroom has blessed me with a vision! I want to build a temple in honor of the Mushroom.
I wrote some basic ideas down for a homepage for the Temple of the Mushroom yesterday:
"This page was created to honor the great Mushroom. The Mushroom told me in a vision that it needs a temple on Earth. * The Temple of the Mushroom will be a place where Mushroom rituals will be held every evening. * The temple of the Mushroom will be a sanctuary where people from all walks of life can come to take part of the divine Mushrooms healing wisdom and receive knowledge about themselves and the Universe. in a safe set & setting under the guidance of experienced Mushroom shamans. * The temple will be an oasis from the forces in the world that want to keep the knowledge of the Mushroom away from you. The temple of the Mushroom will be a place where everyone can be their true self, a place Without judgment. The temple of the Mushroom welcomes everybody as they are."
If you feel in your heart that this is something that would make the world a better place, give me your best ideas.. Ask the Mushroom for more knowledge and ideas. The location for the temple I feel would be right is Amsterdam, since I believe that to be one of the few places in the world where a temple would be accepted by the authorities. If you feel that there is something you could do to help to make the TOTM a reality, post it here or PM me.. I have no skills in creating web-pages so any help there would be a great beginning. Namaste brothers and sisters

This has nothing to do with organized religion. Organized religion's one of many reasons for the imbalances in our world. I'm not going to be the High Priest of the Mushroom Temple, 'cause the Mushroom and the psychedelic experience is the greatest teacher you'll ever need. The temple's for everyone and the only priest is the Mushroom itself.
It's all about finding your own divinity within.

If it's meant to happen, it's meant to happen.
Takes initiative. The only thing anything ever got done is by someone getting up off their ass.
I have nothing to say that could help.
It's on you, dedication, committments...not applications.

We encounter problems on messageboards with letting people be their true selves. Because of the nature of things I expect the problems would escalate into fullscale mayhem if people were encouraged to be their real selves.

In order to be yourself, you have to come honest to yourself. So many of those who would be given the freedom to be themselves, will only think that they are, when if fact all they do is manifest their frustrations and fears. And I have the strong suspicion that we're so much more than that.

manifesting frustrations and fears is being real.
The nature of things witholds knowledge of how our actions contribute to our malaise. (i.m.o)

Manifesting frustrations occurs only when we're unaware or their roots. When we're able to detect their cause, when we accept it as a fact that needs to be solved it order to improve the quality if the life that we live, we stop identifying ourselves with those issues. Then we start treating our dissatisfactions instead of manifesting them.

If the first book of the Bible started out with those words would we be where we are now?

This has nothing to do with the bible or any other book or person that might wanna imprint thins kind of thinking. In my opinion it simply doesn't work that way. These things have a meaning when we reach those conclusions on our own.

Yeah I agree that individual choice supercedes nationalistic ideals.

Wheres the website? I think Temple of the Shroom is an amazing idea. =D There is more spirit in one mushroom cap than all the churches put together. I'm a magic mushroom virgin, and I still know this to be true.

I am not pleased. We can do better than that, can't we? I would create an online shrine, but alas, I'm still a shroom virgin. I'll get back to this thread after I've lost my shroom v-card. =D
