7 days ago i inoculated two 4 pound rye bags with about 6 ccs of multispore cambodia spores. theres no growth yet or any change in the bags which I dont think is too unusual at this point but I have to ask......
when I got the bags the bottom of them had dark brown gooey rye as opposed to the rest of the bags which had light colored dry looking rye. is this normal??? the bags were supposed to be pre-sterilized. if I have to I can try to post a pic of the brown gooey stuff cause its still about the same as when I got it but a little bit more dry now.

i'd say too much moisture, if it came form a vendor you should complain.
pics are easy to post just click pics under your name at the top then click upload and browse your comp for the pic. pics would help...
like i said though i'd guess its too much moisture

alright well it's been 11 days now and I still see no growth. the strain is cambodia which I figured would have started by now. that brown gooey shit at the bottom was starting to get dryer and dryer looking but today (day 11) I decided since there was no growth I would mix the bags around so I gently mushed around the rye in one bag (the dryer of the 2) then in the bag with a lot of brown wet rye at the bottom, I mixed all the rye around thoroughly. I'm wondering, could this have done something to fuck up the spores germination? well I know it COULD have but, how likely would you say it is or could it have helped? Ill also note again, each 4 lb bag was knocked with 6 ccs of multispore cambodia 11 days ago and have been incubated at approx. 78 degrees since then. any advice or comments??? Im curious as to whether or not this is an unusual amount of time to see growth.

"Brown Gooey shit" happened in my first couple of Rye Spawn Bags and Jars because there was too much water left in my Rye Berries.
If I were you I'd contact whatever source you ordered the Spawn bags from, because too much moisture is why your spores aren't germinating.
